Mathematics - University of North Alabama
The Department of Mathematics offers major projects in arithmetic prompting the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees, minor projects in science, and gives coursework in arithmetic material to degree necessities in different offices and to fractional fulfillment of the general studies part in all projects. In participation with the College of Education, the office gives extra coursework to science majors who are seeking after affirmation to show optional arithmetic. Math majors might take an interest in the Math/CS Undergraduate Research Team and the Dual Degree Engineering Program (DDEP). The DDEP is intended to be finished in 3 years at UNA and 2 years at the University of Alabama. The DDEP is a 3+2 arrangement offering understudies the chance to win two four year college educations in 5 years. Furthermore, numerous math majors are respected by choice to Kappa Mu Epsilon, a specific honor society in Mathematics.
In conjunction with the CPR^2 Summer Institute for Math Teachers, UNA offers a late spring STEM camp for secondary school understudies.

Bureau of Mathematics and Computer Science The UNA Mathematics Department is situated in the Mathematics Building (MAB in University Course Listings), which is behind Wesleyan Hall on the grounds. The building houses classrooms, workplaces and labs. There are seven classrooms, all of which have media capacity. The PC lab is outfitted with 30 PC's, all of which are Internet-associated and which have introduced an assortment of programming bundles for instructional use.
